I really like her even if you think she is not complete.
She's wonderful Darla!I always put my paintings on the mantle piece for a day to see if I missed anything too ;)Micki x
Darla, I'd definitely call that a state statement piece. I think the girl is so striking against the black ... looks fabulous. You have really come into your own with your painting.
Every day I like her more.. she's growing :)
She's gorgeous and the painting looks fantastic on that wall !!
darla, she is awesome! i love how well you shade with acrylics! great job lady! xoxo
Yes, that's what I like to do--let the piece rest for a while--it always seems to tell me what's next. I love the way she looks on the wall--almost like an ad--very cool!
Thank you all so much! I've gotten the go ahead to seal her up :)Diane, I love that you said she looks like an ad because that was what we were going for! I appreciate everyone's input and advice, suggestions and compliments!♥♥♥
She's gorgeous Darla! Did you make a decision about adding sparkle to the dress? As for not seeing things for a day or two sometimes I will look at something from last year and see things I want to change, I guess that is what being an artist is all about, always looking to express the feeling more clearly!Tina xo
Wow this is sooo beautiful.!!!she seems so beautiful and yourr such soft hair.. I adore this girl's sweet glance.xoxoyasmin
Darla she is fab! I often find that when I photograph a piece and look at it on the computer I 'see' stuff that needs tweaking, or as you say when you look at it the next day. I suppose it's looking at it through 'fresh' eyes, actually seeing what we did instead of what we were aiming to do! She is gorgeous though!Ro xx
oh holy smokes!!! this is wonderful Darla!!! wow....she is so cool with the pink couture word....behind her....I know your client will be thrilled!!!!
Darla she is amazing!! Love the black and red. I really like what you did with the shading! Beautiful!! :)
