The show must go on

Here's my newest 10 x 10 canvas. I really enjoyed playing with bright colors on this one.
I heard 'The tears of a clown' by Smoky Robinson the other day and I've always loved that song. It just reminds me that sometimes our hearts can be breaking but people still like to see our happy faces and we put them on and pretend everything is ok........when really it's not.

Good night dear blog friends
Darla
p.s. For some reason I can't do my little 'hearts' on my signature since I updated firefox on my home computer. I can still do them at work so the hearts will be flying willy nilly now. LOL

The colors are fantastic - even though I have an unhealthy fear of clowns...except Red Skelton when he played the sad clown..but others? Eeekkk!

Thank you all so much! And thank you Laurie for the link♥
I've never had a huge love of clowns nor a fear of them I guess, but I still don't want a real life one in my face. That's freaky! LOL!

It's a wonderful painting for clown lovers. Not me, like you I don't have a fear, nor do I want it my face. Ya know? But you did paint it for the person who is going to buy it!

You did a great job, Darla, and I love the show tent in the background....nice touch! I know many people, particularly kids, love clowns but I'm one of those people who don't like them. Clowns/jesters freak me out for some reason.
