I'm trying to experiment with loosening up my strokes and technique. I tend to futz with stuff so much and on this piece, I'm slip slappin' the paint around more. I've got little swirls of modeling paste on here, that was fun!
It's early......and things WILL change :)

Really beautiful work Darla!! I love the new technique you're experimenting with and it's nice to break out of our comfort zone now and then!
I've been trying to loosen up with some of my paintings too, I like how it feels but don't think I could do it all the time though ;)
I'm so glad you got the cards, I was beginning to worry, I can't believe how long they took to get to you.
I sent some to thevintagesister (tracy) the same day as you and they got to her over a week before yours!! the post confuses me lol!!

Darla, that is beautiful! I'm so PROUD of you for stepping out of the box!!!!! YOU GO GIRL! I was the same way when I painted - too tight! Maybe I should have just drank some margaritas before starting! Hahahaaa!
It is beautiful - I'm so proud of you!
Love,
L
The colours, looking good.
