Journal Pg. 12

We are wordless at this point :) I want to write something on the left side but I'm still thinking on what I want it to be.

It's Tuesday and I'm off to get my eyes checked this afternoon. I know they've gotten worse since my last check up and it will be nice to get a new prescription. I've always had 20/20 vision but once I turned 45........I need glasses to even read the recipe on a cake mix box! :)

Have a super day♥
Darla

Oh Darla,
This piece took my breath away when I clicked into your blog! She is fabulous! I usually get nervous when I try to write on these pieces but I'm sure you will figure it out. She is just so expressive as she is. FABULOUS!

If you have trouble keeping the 5 degree slant and you have a natural tendency to slant it a bit more that's ok, just keep the slant consistent. I know you are doing great!

She is gorgeous!! I love the colors!

You are lucky to have had 20/20 for so long... coming from a girl who has had glasses and contacts FOREVER! :)

Hi Darla,
Oh wow, she's really coming along.
Amazing the transformation.

Good luck with the eye specialist.
I can hear you singing "I can see clearly now"

This new girl of yours is very haughty, very regal - I love these new paintings you are doing and the darker colors of your backgrounds - lovely!

She is thinking...
Yeah, you'll be back,

She is a powerhouse, Darla!

Gorgeous, Darla, just stunning! I had to click on her so I could see her beauty in full size. Wonderful!!

I'm with you on the eyes, except mine started getting worse when I was 41. Now, I wear very mild reading glasses, but I can really tell if I'm tired or have a headache- then my eyes don't want to focus at all...

Hugs, Silke

Good luck with the eye exam. I only just got a reading prescription a couple years ago, but yes, I need them to read directions on cake mix boxes too. I paint with them...and an embroidery magnifier too. I used to have such great vision...oh well.
