Snowfall

Pretty but YUCK! Last year we were worried if we'd get a white Christmas and this year it's coming before Halloween! See my crab apple tree? Still FULL of apples and they've usually fallen to the ground by the time snow arrives.

Oh well.......hopefully it will melt and we'll have a few more days of autumn. It's supposed to be 57 degrees here on Saturday! :)

Have a great evening!

That does look beautiful Darla, and look at it this way - you didn't get 13 inches like we did last Saturday! =)

I think there's something wacky about the weather this year..snow one day and 70's the next? And I thought it was just Utah..but my kiddos in Colorado are having the same thing..weird! Maybe it will be a l.o.n.g winter...

Oh dear, I can't believe winter is coming so early this year! I guess the best we can hope for is a very early spring?!

Thank you for sharing it. It is probably the only snow I will see all year.

What a beautiful photo - although I'm glad to be viewing it through the computer and not in my yard! Not quite ready for snow.

We're supposed to get a Nor'Easter here in Hudson Valley later today through tomorrow and snow by tomorrow night. It prolly won't stick much; it'll be too wet from all the rain. It's lovely to look at but i loathe driving in it.
If it comes I'll just stay inside, drink hot beverages and paint. Looking on the up-side...lol.

I like how you captured the essence of the feeling of snow, for those of us who do not get snow. Having lived in the snow-belt, I miss it its beauty, but not the temps. Hang in there my dear, it will pass.

Wow that is a gorgeous photo Darla it makes me want to paint it!! The weather over here is a bit crazy too. It's supposed to be spring and is usually quite warm by now but it still feels like the middle of winter!!
