I don't know, but ever since I got my comfortable desk chair, I'm so content sitting and painting tiny landscapes! It's so calming to me and I wish I had learned to sit and paint a long time ago!
I know with larger pieces it's sometimes easier to stand and really get into the whole creative process (a.k.a. mess) but I'm liking this new perch I have and the whole sense of peace it's bringing me.
Of course, this is now and we all know that I could have a totally new perspective on this by Friday :)

Your trees look great. And I know what you mean about finding a perch and getting comfortable. It does help the creative process.
I am in awe of how quickly you paint!
They are really pretty, too!

Darla, these are beautiful! You are so good about stepping out of the box, and trying out different things all the time!!!!
priti.lisa, isn't it amazing how she paints so beautifully, so quickly? I have always been amazed by that!
Hi Darla,
these are beautiful!!!!
I love these!!!
Lovely landscapes.
I have a really comfy old futon couch in my studio. It used to be my favourite spot to do collage work or stuff dolls...but it's so comfy I would catch myself dozing off over my work. Prolly doesn't help that I was working late at night too.
These are so perfect Darla! Beautiful trees :-)
Hi Darla,
This latest piece is fantastic.
You've really captured the shadows and highlights in just the right places. Oh, it must be that new chair you have! lol
Hugs,
Anna
