Girls inspired by Tam (Willowing)

I loved taking Tam's class and I so enjoy her pretty girls! I sketched a couple girls today with her carefree hair and unique eye shape. It's so fun for me to try new looks........almost daily as you've probably come to know. I just can't seem to find my niche or what I do best.
Thanks for hanging in here on my little journey to that place.....maybe someday I'll find it :)

P.s. I know it's only water weight, but I'm down 4 lbs since Monday morning :)
16 to go!

Isn't Tam just all kinds of inspiring? :) But then again, so are you. Your girls are really pretty. I gave up on finding my niche. I think it was hopeless. lol

I can so relate to not finding your niche. I feel the same way because I am still experimenting and want to try it all. I also find that I am that way in life in general - I love having different experiences... Love your art!! Hugs, Silke

Darla they have such a cute little cheeky sweet look. I love your take on Tammy's art, really works so well. Love the lips and the eyes with the cheeks lifting and smiling.

The girls are great! I can't seem to find my niche either. It is so frustrating sometimes.

Congrats on the weight loss!

OH, they're so pretty! the second one makes me think of a mermaid.

i keep jumping from one thing to another also....i love painting realistic animals but i've also been very drawn to spiritual and mixed media art this past year. currently, i'm having fun with my sketchbook. they do say variety is the spice of life so i say just have fun exploring all the different areas of art. :)

Hi Darla you have been busy, I thought I'd only been away from my computer for a day or so and look at how much you've done!!! These girls are lovely. I can relate to not finding your niche. I don't know if I ever will but I don't think that's such a bad thing as it means we're trying new things. I do think you definitly have strong and beautiful style to your work and that is why i'm so drawn to it. Keep going and creating, it's so exciting to see what you come up with!!!
