Tried something for the FIRST time!

No pencil sketch first.......just grabbed my new little watercolor paint set and started painting. I know she's not very fancy or by any means, perfect....but it was fun to experiment!! I kind of like her sad face. I think she pouting because of that nose! Sorry princess girl, but this is what you get when I have a half hour left of my lunch break and desire to paint. LOL

I think you did great without a sketch first! I shudder to think what something of mine would look like freehand.

It is fun to freehand paint and I sometimes get "happy accidents" and sometimes not so happy! I like the spontaneous look of the piece and I think it works beautifully!! This is a keeper!

Hi Darla,
Great Painting, love the free spirit.
Thank You for the recipe, I will try it for Dinner.
Good Luck on your weight, I too am going to the gym with a trainer 3 times a week, trying to shed 40 lbs..
Wow, as you age it is tough, I never had a hard time with my weight, now it comes on so fast and goes away so slooooooooow..
I like that Whole Wheat Pasta, I am a Pasta Nut..
Taste good with stir fry veggies, and a little low fat sour cream, and of course crushed garlic..
Have a Great Week!
Hugs
Tammy

This is really, Really beautiful and i think you should do these more often. She is so soft...I don't know how you paint with watercolors but that is amazing! They are so unforgiving and I find them so difficult....you have a definite knack for that medium! : ) xx

Why is I am the biggest fan of the ones that you think something is wrong with.

She is fantastic Darla.

The house painting is amazing and the one where you say finding your nice or style.

Why? Why can't your style be 'anything goes?'

Love Renee xoxo
