A couple finished pieces

This was the sketch I did the other night. I was in pain (lower back) when I did this and she appears to feel my pain, huh? ha! Much better now :)

This is the 24 x 36 canvas for a charity auction. Now I need to name it and frame it :) Any suggestions? I'm trying to convey that with friends supporting us, we can weather any storm that comes our way.

Made a trip to Michaels yesterday and got some cute canvases......4x12 in sets of 3. I'm excited to try a triptych now of some sort! I've also gone through quite a bit of paint doing larger pieces so I stocked up on some basic colors again.

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

so glad you are feeling better.
Lovely lady even if she is empathetic to your pain.

the daisies are lovely against the stormy background.

Thank you! Cathy, I used acrylics, but very watered down so they were like watercolors :)

Dear Darla,I hope you already have if recovered of your pain.. I don't like you to suffer or be sad.
But I also see that the pain or sadness can be an inspiration source if treating of art.. your girl this fantastic one... I love their long las hes and I think that the people will adore their daisies.. because they have an incredible light
And their preserves... wow, gave me an enormous desire to prove.. they seem delicious.
Have a beautiful week full of greets and love.

Both paintings turned out beautifully!
I always love your girls, and this one is so full of expression...her eyes are killer.
And the abstract, so thought provoking. Strong and delicate at the same time.
You are always an inspiration, Darla :)
