HOPE (it works!)

I know you're all probably getting tired of my same color themed backgrounds this past week, but I'm liking them lots! I'll have to try change things up a bit. This is 'Hope' done on a 10x10 canvas.

I'm smiling big time! Remember a few days back when I suggested you stop by Tollipop's blog and see her fantastic giveaway? I won the grand prize!! Seriously, I never win anything so this is huge! Huge I say! ha! 3 ORIGINAL PIECES!
Thank you so much Kirsten!!♥

It's such a busy week from here on out so I'm not sure when I'll get started on my next doll. I bought Popsicle sticks so I can insert one next time so I don't crack her neck. hehe
I have a board meeting, a spring music program, a birthday party, trivia (all in the next 3 days) and then for the weekend I'm traveling to spend some time with my son. I'm taking my 9 yo. granddaughter with and we're going to help him spring clean! Feel free to join us :) I don't want anyone feeling left out.

Oh! I need to add a special THANK YOU to Klaire of Mystic Silks for including my 'Letting Go' piece in her beautiful treasury on Etsy. Thank you Klaire! Please stop by her shop to see some of the most gorgeous artwork!!

Have a great one!
Darla

Hi Darla, you "Hope" painting is just lovely and I love the deep background colour with the white flowers, the painting is just perfect!

Congrats on winning the first prize, wow what a thrill. I am yet to win anything on Blogger but I am still a newbie here so I will give it more time before I start moaning about it lol. Cheers Val xx

I have a favorite color background too and have to force myself to switch it up sometimes. Your latest pieces are beautiful!
Congratulations on winning such a great prize and have a wonderful visit with your son.
(It's never as bad spring cleaning someone else's house.)
