Two New Etsy Items

I just completed week 3 of Willowing's World of Whimsy workshop and it's quite fun!
You'll probably remember the witch with blue hair so she' s not 'new' but I did mount her to masonite and seal her with beeswax so she is now complete.

I also did a girl holding the world called 'Create Your Destiny'
They were both very fun projects for me!

Back to the studio (a.k.a. basement) I go. G'night :)

I love both of these they are beautiful.
I am so jealous of the people doing the willowing course, I cannot do it at the moment due to financial stuff at home but I want to so badly!!!

can't wait to see what else you make from the course.

What is masonite? It seems to be a bit like corkboard or mdf form the descriptions, is that right?

Hi Rhomany
Some people call it 'hard board'. It's 1/8" thick, hard compressed particle wood. Stronger than particle board though if that makes sense? Sometimes they'll use it as backing on framed prints you can buy in stores, etc.
I guess it's nice because it's a hard, strong surface, yet thin enough to frame easily too.
Hope this helps :)
