Hard to explain....but

There is something fun and totally 'freeing' about painting these drippy girls. First of all, I know I'm just playing......so bye-bye pressure and expectations! Second, it's only paper...who cares what goes right or what goes wrong? Not me! There's blotches of color where there shouldn't be and I'm totally ok with it :)

I highly recommend trying this if you've found yourself in the same boat I was in. Get out some watercolor paper or bristol paper if you like acrylics and just sketch and play and drip and make a mess! It's so fun ....really!

Hope you all have a great week!

Darla I love her!!! It's hard to put into words, she looks sad and gloomy and yet so compelling and the colors are perfect....I think you should make more of these "triste" ladies!

ooh, I love playing with drippy paint!
she turned out so lovely, despite the running mascara, lol!

I always mean to drip paint all over my faces, but then I like them so much, I change my mind :-D
