Special request

Dale's daughter asked if I could paint something to go above her bed. I asked that she pick out a few styles she liked and I'd see if I could do something similar. This is what I came up with. I had to incorporate a blue shade that she painted in her adjoining bathroom and then her bedding is black with light blue sheets.

I'm still waiting to hear if this is ok or not.........hopefully it will go in her home, if not.....ETSY :)
Each canvas is 18 x 24 with LOTS of texture from molding paste.

Tonight I put epoxy resin on the long daisy painting I did for my guestroom. I LOVE it and will take pics tomorrow when it dries. Boy, do the colors pop with that stuff. Yum!

Have a good night,
Darla

What do you do with epoxy resin? Sorry to be a dweeb but I can't picture what you would do to your painting with it...lol!

I love it! She will too. :) I wouldn't mind having something like that hanging above my bed.

Oh, it goes without saying-gorgeous!! I really would like to try the resin. How easy/hard is it to master?

Darla this is gorgeous!! I like to paint landscape but have never tried it with molding paste. I may have to do that on the next one I paint! She will love this!! :)

Wow this is gorgeous, what a stunning piece! I'm loving the new direction your art has taken! I've never used Epoxy resin as a varnish type thing over a painting, isn't it really thick? I'm interested trying this out on mine.

Wow. That is the most gorgeous painting. I love how you did it on 2 panels. I don't know what I love more, the trees, the moon, or the colors. Magical.
