12 x 30 Canvas

I wanted an art piece to go on the wall above the new daybed and I found many that I LOVED...but I got cheap and thought I'd just paint something myself :)

The sides are painted black and as soon as I get my mattress and can finish the room, I will share it with you all!!

Here is my living room, finally all put back together. I'm very happy with the carpet and the new couch. I hardly dare spend time in here now......but of course, Mieko doesn't appear to have a problem with it. haha

Have a super day!

That painting is gorgeous Darla, I think most people would see that as expensive and not cheap, you have an original piece of art there, not some mass produced carp ;)
Be proud lady your work is fabulous!!

Hi Darla, your painting if lovely, looking forward to seeing it over the daybed.

I am a hardwood floor person myself, but your living room looks great.

Love this painting, it would look great on my wall also. Can't believe you wanted to buy one, when you can paint soooo well.
Love your style, your color combinations.
Have some canvases that big myself, but they'll wait for some time more, so I can practise on smaller first :) Just started another class :) It's addictive :)

Yes, your art is part of you and should be in your home as well. I do that too--I'll hang other artists' work, but not my own--why do I do that?!
