Work in Progress

I started on a 24 x 24 canvas last night( creating a landscape) for a charity auction this month but then decided I needed to paint a girl. No Christmas ornaments, no snowmen.....just a girl. It had been quite awhile since I painted one.

I'm not sure where this one is going yet.....but this is what I have so far.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to finish the landscape tonight or maybe this one. It all depends on the mood-meter :)

Have a great Wednesday!
Darla

I love the colours you are using. Your red is beautiful.

Guess what came in the mail yesterday. How strange as that is what we talked about.

I love it dear friend. I love the ATCs and thank you so much.

Love Renee xoxoxo

This is wonderful! I love her face and you blend the face colors so well. I always strive for that but I have yet to accomplish that will acrylics. Love it!

Hi Darla,
Wow, this is fantastic.
I'm not sure what else there needs to be done, but I'll be back to check it out.

Did you use Isocol for the circles in the background?
Just curious

Anna

This is coming along so beautifully! I love how the background flows so well with the colors of her dress and then just the right amount of POP for the hat....
Gorgeous!
