A journal page

I tried to do this one with almost ALL watersoluble crayons but have to admit, I added a couple touches of white and gold. It was a good challenge for me though :) She's loaded with busy 'extras' and covered with beeswax too. This album (journal) is almost complete and I think it will be so fun to put it away and take it out in a few years and look at it again. I often wonder how these will hold up over the years and where it will end up when I'm gone. I would hope one of my children or grandchildren would keep it and never toss it in the 'she's gone now, we can throw it' pile :)

The first of the year, you may remember, I mentioned I was going to try the Paleo diet. I've come to realize it really isn't a diet, but rather a new way of eating and I.LOVE.IT.!! I feel SO good! No longer bloated, no stomach issues, less joint paint, sleep better and I've also dropped 5 lbs.

I'll continue to eat this way and keep you updated as to how it's going.
I'm off to an art auction tonight. Those are always fun!!

She is beautiful Darla! The thought of this journal not being enjoyed is hard to consider. I can only imagine it being treasured for ever. What a gift for a grandchild or family!

You have me curious about this diet. I will have to find out more. So glad you are happy with it!

Wow, she is stunning! you don't need to worry about this journal being tossed, I'm sure several of your family members will be fighting over it, lol!

the diet sounds interesting...I will have to check it out as well. Paleo makes me think of hunks of meat thought, lol! and I'm pretty sure that's not what it is :-)
