Sam the cooking guy :)

I've been catching a lot of the Discovery Health Channel these days and one show I try to record when possible is 'Just Cook This' with Sam the Cooking Guy

Have you seen his show yet? He's rather comical.

Today for lunch, I made this and I have to say.......YUM! I made a smaller version because I really wasn't sure how I'd like goat cheese, not to mention I AM only cooking for one anyway. Leftovers are good, but leftover pizza can be one slippery slope for me if you know what I'm sayin' :)

I just finished my 17th Zumba class this morning and it's official.....I am hooked! I have NEVER found an exercise that I so looked forward to or one that leaves me feeling wonderful and full of energy. I came home and finished a project I started before class. CLEANING OUT MY CLOSET! Woo hoo! I bagged up 2 large bags to donate to our church for their annual rummage sale next week, another 2 bags went to the garbage. It's amazing how many 'painting' tops I seriously thought I needed. I had no room to put clothes away anymore. Pathetic.

Then I moved onto my drawers and I packed away winter sweaters and such and replaced closet and dresser drawers with brighter colors for summer.

Then I tackled my fridge. Again......how many salad dressings does one person need? And 3 bottles of half empty soy sauce? No more!

I think I'm going to head out shortly to Dale's for supper and a little visit by the fire pit this evening. It's a beautiful day here!

Oh! I also came home this morning to find that 3 of my paintings sold on Etsy. My heart about burst! It was a great feeling. I need to pay more attention to my shop and try get some new things listed soon. I've neglected it a bit......shame on me!

Hoping you all are having a wonderful weekend so far!! Thanks for stopping by even though I haven't been updating as often as I should♥

Yum is right!! I love goat cheese.
I had this amazing chicken salad somewhere on one of our trips to the mountains, it had warm goat cheese on it. It was one of the best salads I have ever eaten.

I think the sales fairy must be around on Etsy because I got three sales yesterday too, after a month of only 1 sale it was a big sigh of relief ;)

Yummy!! That looks really good. I will have to try it. I love Sam the Cooking guy! He lives in San Diego and I ran into him once. My reaction was hilarious. I said "Are you Sam the Cooking guy?" He said "Yes, I am." I totally freaked out and gave him a hug and told him that I loved his show and I make his stuff all of the time. I really only have made a few of his dishes..I don't know why I acted like such a geek!! He is kinda cute though... :)

Sounds like you had a very fun productive day. I've been cleaning out my closet too, and still going. It's amazing how much stuff you can compact in such a small space. And Congratulations on your sales!!
