Mountains and new hair color :)

I took a little time this morning to play with some watercolor paper......and acrylics and pan pastels and napkins :)

It says: You cannot climb a mountain if you will not risk a fall

Last Wednesday I had a hair appointment to get some 'highlights'. The last time I was there, my hair wouldn't take the highlights very well so she bumped it up a bit. I'M BLONDE!

Granted, with the gray hair I was getting a little lighter anyway but I've never been this blonde :) I felt so sorry for my stylist as her mother was on her death bed (damn cancer) and I think she just had so much on her mind. My hair is wonky too so between the two, we got this.

She said if after a couple of days I wasn't happy to come back and she'd put some low lights in it. Her mother died........I don't feel my hair is all that important at the moment.

So I shall live with it :)

And here is one my Elvis favorites! Enjoy!

The painting is beautiful and the sentiment is apropos. Love the hair color, I was thinking of doing mine pale lilac. Hey I'm 59 if I don't do it now when will I. Besides artists are supposed to be "off the wall". Sorry to hear the sad news though.
