Scary dream!

Last night I dreamt that I had a huge, bald spot...right on the top of my head. Well, it was actually most of my head. So devastating! I tried the popular 'comb over' but it was NOT helping!!

I went online this morning to try and find the meaning of a dream like this.

"To dream that you are going bald suggests a lack of self-esteem or worries about getting older. Alternatively, baldness symbolizes humility, purity, and personal sacrifice. You are at a stage in your life where you are confident in fully exposing yourself."

I can tell you right now, for me, it IS the self-esteem issue for sure!! My hair has thinned over the years and I do have hair envy when I see women with beautiful, thick hair. I wonder if they even realize how lucky they are? I have my health and I'm SO grateful for that, don't get me wrong. But I'd love me some gorgeous, thick hair too :) Just say'n.

First of all, I love your painting, beautiful ;o)
You are so cute about your dream! You know it's funny, when something is taken away from you, you don't realize how special it was, when you had it! I am speaking from experience with the "hair". I think I told you, I lost a lot, when I was sick. I do where many hats, but sometimes, I get sick of wearing them and show the true me. I feel your body, is like a road map, showing all the history you have been through. It's like it's telling a story. When you look down and see a scar or I see my bald spot, I know where I was and what happened to me. And, I wouldn't change it for the world. No botox or hair transplants for me!!! ;o) LOL!

Beautiful painting truly lovely.I to have thinner hair and it was never really thick without products to begin with.I went last month and had it cut short and now I feel so much better. My husband has a big bald spot and he is trying rogaine.Sadly for him it isn't working and he combs it all back and puts it in a short ponytail.I told him it doesn't help but he is so upset with the bald spot.I love your hair Darla your one cute lady.

Your painting is beautiful, Darla!

I can empathise re. thinning hair 'cos mine has thinned A LOT over the past 10 years compared to what it used to be. It's particularly thin on the top of my head which is why I wear it a certain way, pack it full of product and tease it to help thicken it a little. Sometimes, I'm tempted to do something drastic. Yep, I'd love me some luxurious, thick hair too. Take comfort knowing that you aren't alone. xo

Love your painting...beautiful pink hair... Scary dream... My Mr Hollywood is thinning on top...since I stopped him washing his hair everyday day and told him to shampoo from the tips up and start at the back of his head not slapping the product straight on top.... His hair on top is thicker...His hairdresser even noticed. have a great weekend and sweet dreams tonight...:)

I hear you Darla--these lovely-locks ladies don't know how good they have it.
But I bet they wish that they could paint like you--I'd rather have your skill than the hair!

I love the painting! I have a thing for whimsical girls with pink hair. They're just so darn charming!

I can definitely empathize with you because that actually happened to me. When I was about 15, I defended my cousin from 3 girls who were picking on her. They jumped me instead! As tiny as I was back then, I held my own, but ended up with a bald spot about an inch in diameter on the top of my head. Teenage girls can be some hair pulling meanies!
