Darla, just wanted to come back and thank you for the comment. You mention writing, that it's something that you would like to do but... have a mental block sometimes? I have the same problem with art I have ideas of what I would like to do but get blocked. You doodle, then your drawing turns into something unexpected sometimes... so just write random words that fit your mood, then try stringing them together. Or just write out your emotions as a stream of thought. You would be suprised where it can take you. :D
Wow she looks great! Some of my favourite pieces that I've done have been doodles. This is lovely and very serene. Great colours and her eyes are beautiful well done!!
This picture reminds me of a story that my friend John wrote... about "hair roots."
