Christmas stockings are complete!


Here are the stockings I've been working on :) I'm happy with them considering I don't really sew that often :) They are made of a soft, off white wool fabric with a deep red suede cuff. I painted each snowman on tea stained muslin and then hand stitched them on. I WISH I knew how to embroider their names on top but I don't so I had to go with putting each of their names on the individual snowman.

    OMG!! these are really really loveable! you are a lady of many many talents :)) your sewing is so neat and professional :) and of course i dun have to mention that your painting is lovely right ... everyone knows that :)) awww... i'm sure your little sweeties will just love them :))

    Darla, Thanks for coming by and checking out my birthday "hunk". Love your work, I am also a decorative painter. Love the little snowmen and the santa. YOu are so good. I have been too busy with a wedding so this year no homemade things, but I am inspired after seeing you things to think about starting after the new year.
