Painting Mysteriously Stops..........
Had a wonderful weekend and I hope you all did too!
Did a 'little' shopping this weekend, cleaned up a ton of crab apples (a whole pickup full!) and put up Christmas decorations!
Hoping to get back to some painting tonight or at least have the desire to :)

I'm so happy to have found your blog...it's great...I did the same thing this weekend...got all my decorations out and up!!! Hubby strung the lights around the house, it's it so much fun? Now I'll be back cuz I'm following you darla!!!

ReplyDeleteI've not painted in a bit either. This is a busy time of year for me, I'm trying to slow my pace a bit.
We decorated the house over the weekend too, now I just need to put away the many "piles" of stuff sitting around and do the never ending laundry!!!!!

Sounds like you needed some down time. I'm hopefully going to start my decorating next week. I got this weird tubular lighted tree at a garage sale. I wonder how that's going to look on my porch. LOL

Don't you hate it when "real life" gets in the way of creating? I am in the process of starting to decorate for the holidays...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing some new work Darla. Sometimes though i think it's a must to have a bit of a break. I feel like I have slowed down a bit lately and caught up on other stuff. Now I feel almost guilt free when I want to sit down and paint. Until the house gets messy again though hehehe. We're putting up our decorations tonight too. I don't know who's more excited me or the kids tee hee xxx
