Work in Progress

Hoping I can finish this girl tomorrow night after a meeting I have to attend. It was fun to paint a larger painting and a girl again!

I'm leaning towards naming this one : Buffets are Evil :)

Thanks for stopping by!

  4. This little girl is so sweet and loving her dress and the way she holds her head towards and listening.
I didn't know Beryl Cook had died.
She certainly made her life worth while leaving us all her fun art.
So pleased you enjoyed looking at her art also. Thank you for sharing this, Darla, your a star!

  9. She is awesome and I totally love her. She is shaped exactly like me.

I love the pies on the bottom and am going to try to get someone to make them for me.

  10. Isn't that the truth~!!! I think pizza buffets were invented somewhere in the dark regions of earth! I love your barn paintings, Darla. They're beautiful. The cards you make and sell on your Etsy store. Do you have any paintings like those?

  11. Thank you all! I'm hoping to finish her up tonight but I just got reminded of a Norwex party I'm supposed to attend.

Lynne, I don't have any larger paintings of barns right now. I've actually been commissioned to paint a scene on a large saw so I was just revisiting some techniques with the little ACEO cards. (I was out of practice! hehe) I might just do larger ones though :) Thanks for asking!
